-- this song for some reason happens to be my 8am song especially if the annual india trip is somewhere around the corner. do you have 8am songs? i do. - (usually the first song that comes to my mind when i wake up ). over the years there have been even tv commercial songs, classical, slokas basically anything that comes to my mind right after i wake up. have to admit, but there was this paper wala guy in my street back in chennai, who used to call out for old newspapers and plastic items. He actually used to sing paper-plastic and the way he called out was a catchy tune that my sister & myself couldn't resist practicing.
-- In the video, gowthami and pandiarajan actually portray Singapore "alien" to them. Lol!. If there is one country that is as much indian as it can get, it has to be S'pore. Tamil is their official language so you can imagine. On a family vacation to S'pore few years back, a cab driver (non-desi) actually spoke in tamil to my dad asking him about naadi josiyam!.
-- I am looking for Ipod docking station with speakers. Do you own one? Any recommendations?
-- On a totally different note, cutting down on rice really does magic to our body. We have not had rice for the last 7 -8 meals and man, it sure does feel lighter and very flattering . It is seriously tough to give up completely but for starters, this works!.
-- I also need restaurant recommendations in chennai/bengaluru. It is going to be legen-wait for it-dary this time in chennaipattinam!.

Aarthi has a Altec Lansing which works great and cost around $120 or so if I remember.
And no rice does help. I'm reading your post while eating a big meal though :(
I got a Bose portable sounddock but I think it's overpriced though it's awesome! There is another brand called Klippsch or Kippch(donno if I got that right) that is really good.
Awesome, tell me when you land, will give restaurant recommendations. And we'll meet.
Hey ditto about 8 am songs. I am trying to document them on my blog these days. Go eat at Gangotree and Kabab Factory for me please :)
Sorry couldn't stay away from thinking about the food after reading this..Have to add to the list now. This time I went home, I tried Kailash Parbat and loved it! And for pastries and dessert try Sandy's Chocolate Lab in Greenways Road..very nice. And Beyond Indus at Taj Mount Road. Awesome food. Have fun in namba ooru!
