back!

- who doesn't like attention? :-). for the last 3 months, my engagement and wedding and post wedding has been the daily news feed at home like some cnn crawler. emails hit a 1000 ranging from "who is the guy: "when are you coming", "sarees from?", "what did you wear", "send mehendi pics" to "are you back?". But the most obvious and expected question being, How is married life?.

- i still cannot believe i actually got married. i hear it takes a few months or weeks? for it to sink in. I dont respond to mrs.gayathri.i blink. it takes me a few seconds and ummss to say " i will ask my husband" or "am waiting for my husband".

- At airport gates and security checks,i heard congratulations from random cops. it took me a minute to realize the fact that jfk would have seen million desis who are newly married. thanks to the mehendi and glittering thali.

-i love attending weddings.more so if its a tam brahm one. and i didnt know tht my wedding would have been the best one i attended!. after being overwhelmed with love affection and attention for 1.5mnths, when i came back the silence at home was killing me. after a week of terrible homesickness, things got better.

- life is good and i thank every one of you for your best wishes.

- Adi and Nirmal, really expected you guys on 3rd. Was waiting to introduce you guys as my 'blog friends', adding to the list of 'lkg friends', 'rickshaw friends', 'van friends', 'dav', etc etc...
